Would Italian Dressing and Basil leaves make a good marinade?

Ive got some basil setting in the fridge that needs to be used and I was wondering if it'd be good with italian dressing.

  1. Sounds great.  Just go ahead and try it and see if you like it.  That's what cooking is all about, right?


  2. Yes just add a couple leaves of basil into the dressing - sounds great!

  3. yes, it is a very good maranade i used it last week

  4. I'd try it with a white meat like chicken or pork.
