I think one of the most pressing issues in his time was the Cold War. He was  anti-communist, although a liberal on domestic issues. Today, other than the war in Georgia, which is by non-Communist Russians, that is not an issue. Although Communism still exists in China, N. Korea and Cuba. It is really no longer pure communism in China,  Fidel Castro is out of power and after his brother goes, Communism might, too. North Korea is run by a mad man. It would not matter if he was Communist or Facist.

On other issues today, on things like universal health care, I think he would agree with Ted and other current Democrats. I doubt if he would have supported the war in Iraq, although if he had been President in 2003, and if his advisors convinced him there were WMD in Iraq, who knows? He certainly was no 'Dove" when it came to Cuba.

He would be an independent. He was killed because of not wanting to go along with the ideals of the global banking system. Since they pretty much own the Republicans and Democrats nowadays, he wouldn't have caved into either of them and therefore would never have been elected as a Dem or a Rep. He would have to be an independent to even be on the ballot if he ran today.
