  1. i know republicans are going to bash you for this... but ive read the bible and what i know is jesus ate fish, ive never seen in any passage where jesus sat down for a steak or moose burger... america is the only country that people hunt on a FULL stomach...

  2. Mrs. Palin is not a " Blood-lust " woman.  It is not against the law to hunt moose - as long as you have a permit.

  3. A shame you know very little about Jesus.

He did tell an apostle to "kill and eat" in regards to animals--so the answer would be yes.  Nice try though.

  4. Using Jesus in a political statement is very poor.

  5. You need to look at Jesus' historic context if you want to make a more educated guess at this. His context was 1st century Judea. People regularly fished, hunted and ate various animals. They didn't have moose, but they did have domesticated sheep and cattle, as well as various wild ruminants that were, by Jewish religious law, acceptable for eating because they had parted hoofs.

There is very clear indication that Jesus was not a vegetarian. He is said in the Bible to have taken part in the Passover festivals and was directly said to have eaten fish. Ultimately, in Jesus' historic context, people of his day simply could care less whether an animal was alive one day and dead the next. Though animals (particularly lambs and working animals) could be treated as pets to some degree, they were not "people" and were considered a source of food and labor, not intelligence or society.

So my answer is that I doubt Jesus, being a 1st century Jew, would care one way or another whether Sarah Palin has killed and eaten moose.

  6. How do you know she didn't eat it?

You do know that Obama and Biden eat meat, which has to be killed first, right?

  7. What do you care since you obviously don't believe in Jesus anyway? The animals are here for us to eat and wear. Hunting has nothing to do with being Pro-Life because we want to save children from being murdered in the womb. ♥ ∞

  8. He would likely hunt moose for food just as he used fish for food but he wouldn't approve of abortion and g*y marriage

  9. Under no circumstance would I pretend to answer for Jesus

  10. Who knows, Jesus was a Jew and wouldn't have eaten certain hooved animals. But, I don't think people from that part of the world have ever even seen a moose never mind thought about hunting one. However, he ate fish which is an animal and a life taken. Although this is a foolish question, if I had to answer, I would say yes.

  11. I do believe that Moose is hunted not only for sport but for meat. I guarantee that this lady can cook up some great moose stew.

    Try Genesis 1-26

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth

  12. I didn't know Jesus was from Alaska.

Also, it's really odd that all of these Obama supporters don't eat meat.  I mean no one would have the gall to chide one for killing an animal as they eat dead animal would they?  Oh wait, yeah they would.

  13. Bible says, o.k. to eat meat and have dominion over all animals, course you could throw them all to the wolves!

  14. Anyone who eats meat causes the life to be taken, it is hypocritical to criticize someone for hunting and eat meat yourself. As far as I know Jesus was not a vegetarian and people hunted for meat in his time and before, he did not have a problem with this that I have ever heard of. I am a hunter and have always been taught you kill it you eat it.

  15. Well, he destroyed a fig tree for not having fruit out of season just for his pleasure.  He expelled a bunch of demons into a bunch of bystanding pigs (what'd the pigs ever due to him)?

And given that his father allowed Job's children (and their families, I believe) to be murdered just to prove a point in a debate, I really don't think he has too much room to b*tch about someone killing a moose.

Besides, once you've killed off the natural predators, *not* going out and hunting (to control the population) leaves the moose to overbreed and overpopulate to where the land can't support them, and then they start dying in disease and misery - is that really kinder than hunting them?

(And just fyi, I'm not a Palin fan.  I just don't see hunting as one of her flaws/liabilities.)

  16. No, Jesus wouldn't hunt anything.

  17. I am disgusted at the ease she takes lives of free range animals and displays their lifeless skins and heads as trophies.

  18. EXACTLY!!!!!!  I don't get this pro life c**p when they hunt & kill for sport.... there's an official name for this type of behavior.....

  19. I don't think that moose lived around Jesus, so I would have to say no.

You're right though, I wouldn't think that hunting would go with a pro-life attitude unless someone is poor.  There's far more humane ways of killing creatures than hunting, and meat is quite available at stores, but I guess we're not really talking humane.

Let's be real about what's behind the "pro-life" movement.  It's not about being humane or Christlike.  You don't see these people busting their hump to feed the starving in Africa.

Basically, "Whitee" is afraid... afraid that they're losing the race.. and they are.  But exploiting pregnant teens to show the "we love you" theme, or forcing women to have the baby that mistakes in judgement, birthcontrol, or their j******f boyfriend "accidentally" got them pregnant with, isn't going to win that war.

  20. Cant even think that I could ever answer for Jesus, but if you are a Christian then you will know that Christ ate fish and "beasts" but also remember that they sacrificed lambs, goats, etc to God.  Pro life means Human Life.  They did not look at animals back then, they way we do now.

  21. They eat what they hunt, not sport. Why don't you libs try something different, like telling the truth?

  22. Did Jesus eat Tofu or the flesh of animals?

Did his disciples carry swords? (actually, they did)

  23. Obama's pro-abortion behavior isnt very christian either. But he still calls himself one.

  24. Jesus ate fish and fowl.so a moose would be game..but they only ate the game that lived in the area..no moose in the desert?

  25. No, he would not. It is not a pro life behavior.

  26. Jesus would kill that moose, clean it, cut it into steaks, then feed the hungry with it. Why does this bother you so much? We rule the animals of the earth. They don't rule us!

  27. Would Jesus sanction the use of the pulpit to spread hate and racist sentiments?  Would Jesus appreciate a man who would support someone's "right" to deny medical treatment to a preemie who survived an attempted abortion?  Not the Jesus I revere.

  28. I am starting to HATE the idiots like yourself who think that Christians are NOT normal people.

No Christians are NOT perfect, they are NOT above the laws or the rules, they are NOT meant to stay home have kids and do laundry (females) and they are NOT suppose to let you idiots slap us on the face without responding to it ... the days of old age Christians is over ... you morons have pushed it too far to where NOW Christians have a voice, a presence and a fight that we are going to win all the way to the white house.

    DEAL WITH IT!

  29. She doesn't hunt for sport, but for food. She feeds her family with what is caught. Jesus ate meat! Grow-up. She nourishes her family. Now, go back to your hamburger.

  30. I would say that the odds are that Jesus eat meat considering that God Himself said it was okay to do so in the Bible, His living Word. This isn't I saying this, it comes straight from the Word of our Heavenly Father.

    Exodus 16:12

"I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them, 'At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the LORD your God.'

    Deuteronomy 12:15

Nevertheless, you may slaughter your animals in any of your towns and eat as much of the meat as you want, as if it were gazelle or deer, according to the blessing the LORD your God gives you. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat it.

    Deuteronomy 12:20

When the LORD your God has enlarged your territory as he promised you, and you crave meat and say, "I would like some meat," then you may eat as much of it as you want.

    Romans 14:1-3

    The Weak and the Strong

Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters. One man's faith allows him to eat everything, but another man, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. The man who eats everything must not look down on him who does not, and the man who does not eat everything must not condemn the man who does, for God has accepted him.

    1 Corinthians 10:24-26

Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.

Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, for, "The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it

  31. I was willing to give Sarah Palin a shot, but after learning this ugly bit of information about her I completely lost all respect for her. There simply is no excuse (short of needing the meat to satisfy real hunger) for anyone to be shooting, killing, skinning, and cooking helpless animals. I don't care if you're a man or a woman. It's uncivilized behavior (which, I guess, is something we've come to expect from Republicans of late).

Anyone using Genesis to justify killing animals is being dishonest. There is no proof that Jesus ever approved of ANYTHING written in Genesis. (There are grave doubts even, about its translation). Additionally, circumstances at the time of Jesus were far different than they are today. If people killed animals for food it was because they needed the food. Sarah Palin did it for no legitimate reason at all. Her behavior is disgusting.

    Jesus is not pleased.
