Would MMA be good for me?

I've always had a fascination with MMA, especially Muay Thai, and I've always wanted to train under Muay Thai and Kickboxing maybe some Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I know at some gyms you must train under Kickboxing before you can start Muay Thai. And I have anger and aggression issues, not severe but they're there, and I think this would be a great way to channel my anger and release it in a positive way. I'm aware of the demanding physical requirements for any MMA art so I'm prepared to handle that. and also where is a good place to train under these arts?

  1. well it is a great way to channel  your anger and become a humble person and where at in southern California there is a ton all over try american boxing i hear they are good.

  2. ive taken some muy thai class's and jujitsu class's. I didnt have to take any pre-reqs, if your trainer is good enough you wont have to. I live in michigan and im not sure of the prices there but where i was going was an open Gym and its around $110 a month. Look for some places and ask if you can have 1 or 2 free trial class's to see if you like it or not. If they wont let you, you prob shouldnt go there bc their doing it only for the money. If they let you then theirs a better chance their teaching because they truely love the sport. Ive brought many friends to the place i go a few times. They never mind.

The muy thai teacher was a world champ twice.

Brazilian Jujistsu guy has a Black belt he earned from the Gracie family...

Thier both pretty "BA" lol. ANd those 2 types go perfectally hand in hand
