  1. He is not in Beijing to compete. He went to there to be the country's flag carrier. Pacman isn't entitled to join the Olympics.

  2. If Manny Pacquiao was a contender in the boxing competition, he would surely win against his opponent just in the first round.  TKO at that!  That would give us our first, and perhaps the only, gold in the Olympics.

  3. manny pacquiao was the philippine flag carrier during the opening ceremony in the 2008 beijing olympic.  actually this is the first in our history that a non- participating athlete was tasked to lead the delegates.  he wouldn't compete for olympic games.

  4. Yes. He's competing in black jack. His chances are good.

  5. Not a chance..as he won't be competing..

  6. Boxing has two divisions, Amateur and Professional.

Amateurs should have age limit and have at least 72 units in college degree (qualified for olympic)

Manny in professional boxing  division, he has no college degree and above the age limit so that's why he is qualified for olympic games

  7. Sorry, am still not clear on this. COULD Manny compete in Olympics or not, and if so, why not? What is the specific Olympic rule that disallows him? If it is just his choice, WHY does he not want to compete?
