  1. no you should wait till she's a LEAST 3 1/2 - 4 months old and even then it's still a little young :  )

  2. I would wait. Their system might not be able to process it yet. Did you ask the doctor?

  3. Try rice ceral with formula... it will help curb his appitite

  4. i had the same problem with all three of my boys so around two months i gave them 1 teaspoon per ounce of formula or breast milk and mixed until dissolved and when they turned 4 months i introduced number 1 Gerber's

  5. with her taking that much formula that is great do not give her any until she is at least 4mths old bc her tummy is very small and she could get chocked and let her eat as much as she wants to she is growing i have a 2mth old daughter and she eats at least an 8oz bottle every 2-3 hrs and if she wants it she gets it cant starve a baby from the formula

  6. Yeah she will be fine. Dont worry. She will just p**p alot.

  7. If you think your daughter needs more than formula then you should give her more. Mothers know best, and also all you can do is try it on her, she may want it or may not.

    Congratulations on your baby girl.

  8. you will probably get a bunch of no's but i know people who fed their kids rice cereal at this age and they turned out fine, they are 5+. But I wouldnt go further then really thin rice cereal to begin with, thicken it up as time goes on, and maybe introduce different stage 1 foods at 4 months. Good luck :)

  9. I wouldn't start food yet but you can try cereal. I had to start my son at that age because he spit up everything he ate unless it was thick.

  10. if you believe your daughter is not getting full off the formula alone, i would suggest starting her on cereal. you should definitely clear this with your dr though.my son was breastfed and drank that much most of the time, even as young as two months. is she gaining weight properly?

babies have a tendency to overeat when fed from a bottle. the liquid come out faster (even with slow flow nips) than from the breast. be careful that you are not over-feeding her, as this could cause problems later in life.

  11. 1 month old is way too early to start introducing solids. you need to wait till she is around 3-4 months and then you start her out on baby cereal. you are going to upset her gi tract and make her constipated and give her some tummy troubles. all she needs is her formula right now.
