I believe that the poor little kid would need governmental insurance since his/her parents would be teenagers and would not be likely able to afford the $600/month costs to insure a family. They seem like good candidates for SCHIP coverage. Thoughts?

  1. Since when does it cost $600 per month to insure a young family...

I think they will probably get assistance from their family before they turn to government programs.

  2. Since neither has a job, yes.

  3. Or they could get a job, or use their parents insurance till they are 25 like many Americans with a work ethic.
