Prince Harry has got a reputation for being a yobbo prince with his drunken night club brawls, etc. Would he have turned out to be more refined if he had been allowed to attend Oxbridge like his father (who also flunked his A levels)?

  1. One usually gets more discipline at a military school -- not less.

  2. Er No!

    The boy is a t**t!

  3. Oxbridge looks for the cream of society.  No. Not rich and thick, but the ones with the most intelligence and potential.  Harry, thick as he seems, would have felt out of place there  The army's the best place for him.

  4. He may have received a great education, but as to how he turned out, other factors matter as well.To be taken into consideration: the type of people Harry would have spent time with out of class.

  5. Harry is too dense to attend any University, or Higher Education Centre!

  6. No, he's too think and didn't get the requisite exam results. So, William got the whole second in line to the throne, the looks and the intelligence (such as it is). Not too lucky then for Harry. Definitely an heir and a spare.

  7. Gervaise is talking pants. If you have enough influence you can get into Cambridge regardless. There is no shortage of chinless wonders at Cambridge.

If you give a child money and no meaningful future then you are going to get a mess. Princess Margaret was a non-stop scandal in her youth, so he is not alone.

He is unlikely to be king and isn't allowed a civillian job. He can't to to many royal duties or you might get an argument over the succession.  Ideally royals serve in the navy to avoid the additional complications of serving on foreign soil.

  8. i dont think so. i go to cambridge univeristy, homerton college, and i think it would have probably made him worse. there's a lot of young wealthy males just like that.

also, you're right, it's not all about intelligence. i didnt get all A's, and i got accepted. they probably just had a working class quota to fill, though lol.

  9. What a completely pointless & answerless question.

How on earth could anyone know what could have happened if...........?

  10. How ever much a Royal may be 'eased' into Oxbridge, they cannot cater for people with one brain cell like Prince Harry.

Even that one is in danger by his drinking habits.
