  1. First off, to agree with everyone whose already said it, regardless to if Sting joined the WWE or not, he was still a major star, and still is.

Now, I really do get the tone of your question.  You mean no condescension, you're just curious to if Sting would have succeeded in the WWE, and to that I say no.  Ric Flair believes that they would have treated Sting with the respect that his name rightfully deserves, but I don't buy it.  Look back at what they did to the major WCW stars they did get their hands on.  DDP, Scott Steiner, Booker T, the tag team Kronik, Vito, these guys were major players in WCW, and what does the WWE do to them right off the bat?  DDP is stuck in a stalker gimmick and jobbed off th the Undertaker and Kane.  Scott Steiner's built up for about a month, gets squashed to Triple H, and then gets reduced to carrying Test's bags.  Booker T gets jobbed out to the Rock, Kronik gets jobbed out to the Brothers of Destruction, and Big Vito, a man who had a LOT of hype going for him in the WCW as a big tough guy gets put in a dress.  All the WWE ever wanted to do was put their talents over the old WCW main event as a last "Ha ha, we beat you" gesture, and I have no doubt in my mind that if Sting had joined on with the Alliance, he would have taken DDP's place in the Undertaker feud, and he would have been squashed emensly.  Why?  Because Sting was a WCW mainstay.

Now, if Sting had jumped over in, oh, let's say, the early 90's with Hogan or the Outsiders, back when he was still a fresh steal, back when he was a commodity, he may have stood a chance at becoming a big shot in the WWE, but if he had came over when WCW went under, his legacy would have went with it.

  2. he's already a huge star! Naitch would've loved to wrestle Sting instead of Shawn michaels at his last match.

  3. yeap sure he would

  4. What do you mean, Sting is a legend and internationally known around the world and not only that is a wrestling icon

Your telling me the legends who made this business need WWE to be known around the world

  5. Sting doesn't need WWE to be as big as he is today.

Yeah he could be as big and more famous around the world but his reason is that he is used to ruin the WCW name.

Legends like Lou Thesz Fabolous George and El Sanot didn't need WWE to be legends.

  6. yup

  7. yeah, he would have been a multiple time wwe and world heavyweight champion and he would have better wrestlers to wrestle . he would be in the hall of fame.but nwo wasnt used right.
