Would The Avatar still have defeated the Fire Lord without mastering the three Elements first?

Also, is Avatar really over or are they going to make more seasons?

Probably he would not beat the fire lord because hes to strong. I'm not sure about a new season.(my brother told me this) I don't watch it.

I`m not sure. But no they are over with the avatar no more seasons.

Well, first of all I think it could have been a possibility but if he hadn't mastered all four elements than it wouldn't have as cool lol. The point was that at the end of the series, eventually he  would have all four elements mastered. And second of all, yes the series is supposedly over. =(

Probably.

Technically, Aang did not defeat Firelord Ozai, rather it was the previous Avatars whom won or were victorious against Ozai. It was they that created the orb and bands of elements, and it was they that originally captured and detained and were going to kill Ozai. It was Aang that stopped them and bent Ozai's chi/energy and took away his [Ozai's] firebending.

The previous Avatars toss Ozai around like a rag-doll for the most part.

So had Aang only fought using Air, lets say, a situation similar to what had arisen would have probably occurred - sending Aang into the Avatar state.
