  1. William will probably never see combat, as he is second in line to the thrown. Harry was however in combat, I guess the "spare" is not as important

  2. I find Prince William (as he is portrayed in the media) so aghh! He wastes all that money to fly to a stag do and to his gf's house buts its explained by officials as 'training' - yeh ok. I'll do my nurse training at home then, caring for my brother's cut finger, in front of the TV. He went to Afgan for the shortest time ever, how is him showing his bald spot to the troops be a morale boost? I have so much more respect for Harry as he actually fought along side them til the press blew it. Prince William is not a solider or officer - he's playing dress-up. With members like him, 'Prince' Andrew, frog-faced Beatrice - no wonder people think the Royal Family is a waste of money.

  3. probably not--I don't understand why he's being viewed as heroic-he was only there for 5 minutes

  4. I think William just wanted to ride on his helicopters.

  5. Probably not. Prince William's surprise visit to British troops in Afghanistan drew a mixed response, with some dismissing it as public relations while others praised the future king. A spokesman said the trip was designed to help the young royal familiarise himself with Royal Air Force operations. On the visit, former royal protection officer Ken Wharfe suggested the Afghan visit may have been organised to divert attention from negative headlines in recent weeks. It said the visit was a "shameful waste of public money" and accused defence officials of using British troops in Afghanistan to try to "cleanse" the prince's image.

  6. The only reason for William's '3 Hour' visit to Afghanistan was a PR ploy to try and take off some of the flak he received for using a helicoptor to visit Kate Middleton.  Yet another balding royal leech, confirming that the royals really have no grasp on real life.

  7. Yes, these trips are planned months in advance.

  8. Yes, he is going to make a good King some day

  9. I don't suppose he would...I viewed it as a step up from your Joe Average playing with Action Man and his toys...

  10. Harry is just so much cooler than little Wills these days!

  11. i would love you to go to afghanistan, and see how you would feel.man you would poo poo your pants, so i say the best of luck to him.and it wasn't as bad as they said about william. a lot more went on,but the media doesn't know and were not tipped off,for certain places he visits.
