Would You Consider Trying This Out for Your Bird?

Question

Take a bit of a florett of broccoli (bigger depending on the size of the bird) and smear it in peanut butter -take the peanut buttery broccoli and dip it into a good seed mix -give to your parrot and watch them enjoy!

If you try it out, tell me how they reacted to this new treat!

They would love it! I would just suggest to use a no-added-salt peanut butter (easy to find), and preferably organic.

I have done this with my Amazon Parrot, and he loved it!  I even started using it as a reward for tricks that he learned.

If you're going to do this, be sure to wash the broccoli well to make sure that there is no residue from pesticides, or worms in it, then blot it dry, and only use unsalted peanut butter.
