Would You Feel Funny or Awkward.........?

I was over at my friend's party, and when it came time to go all I noticed Chanel, Gucci, LaPerla, Louis Vuitton Purses all around, and my cheap straw purse I got at a garage sale for $2. I felt kind of funny almost laughed. Yes, my friends are wealthy, but sometimes I feel like a sore thumb even though I am not wealthy. Yes, I love my friends, but it feels a little funny.

It is a little awkward to see yourself with a cheap thing when all your friends have designer, but all I think about is not the price, but if it's cute or not.

A lot of people buy designer because of the designer part, not because it's cute.

As long your things are cute, that's all that counts^^

yeah ive been in the same situation lol, except not exactly with a straw purse. some of my friends are reallly wealthy but ive learned to get over it. its funny at first but if they are reall friends (insert cheesy line here) u know the rest :))

Who cares what name brand your bag is?  All that matter is if it's cute and you like it!  Plus, if these girls are young they are probably fakes anyway, a Louis Vuitton bag can run into the thousands!  Seems like a waste of money to me.  =o)

Don't worry, I kind of have the same problem as you except the other way around.

The school I go to is in such a poor neighborhood. And I always feel embarrassed when I sow up at school with really nice clothes and they're all wearing garage or stitches and I'm wearing Lacoste and Juicy Couture.

When we do something like go shopping they'll bring 30$ tops and spend it all at like Aeropostale and I'll bring my credit card witch holds thousands of dollars and spend it at Coach and Abercrombie.

I feel guilty for being rich and it bugs me. I have a lot of wealthy friends aswell who don't go to my school and sometimes I'll forget I'm with my friends of "lower class" and say something '"Ew, nice Frada"when I pass a girl with a fake prada purse and they look at me like I'm the biggest ***** in the entire world.
