  1. When I first read your question I thought that you were trying to pawn off a few of yours for a couple of days.  :)

I want more children (we only have one) but I don't want to be pregnant, go through labor and delivery, 12am, 2am, and 4am feedings, and all of the difficulties that come with having a new baby.  While we might have another child of our own (I can change my mind), we're planning on adopting another couple of children in a few years.  Right now our son is still a young toddler, plus I'm too young to be an adoptive parent yet, but that is our plan.  I have always felt badly about having a lot of children of my own when I could provide a great and loving family and home to children that already don't have one.  Maybe I'm silly, but that's how I feel.

Ooo... dog!  We're going to need to get one of those in the next couple of years.

  2. I would love to have more children, i wanted another when Anya was 2, but we were very busy and pre-occupied, Ana is now 6 & Seb is eight. I'm DYING for a new baby, and good news - Hubby and i are going to start trying.

  3. Hi Charli

Rebecca and I have only Joseph, who is now 3 and a half

I would love to have one more and have a girl, but honestly, i dont think we will have another

With Rebeccas illness, and the PND after Joseph was born, we have been advised not too, and have kinda sorta decided that we wont- but still deep down we both dont wont Joseph to be an only child.

Maybe if Rebeccas overall health improves...

    EDIT

When Joseph is old enough to care for them we are gonna get a few Rabbits..., they will be our babies......LOL

  4. i want more kids, i have one three year old right now, but unfortunatly, with my fiance being 56, i don't think his mini's are swimming right. we are not trying to get prego, but not preventing it either and i have yet to come up prego. but, there are other alternatives, and hopefully someday soon, i'll either be orego, or whatever way comes our way. i want a big family. and i know i'll have it. being 27 its hard to plan things out when things change so often in yur life. but oh well, take it as it comes..... good luck

  5. I have a daughter, 2 step sons, and one son on the way, I think I would like 1 more.

I always wanted a big family.  But I think we need a bigger house before we think about the 5th kid.  My husband says lets get this one out first.  LOL!

  6. Aahhhhhhhhh, I am currently pregnant with my third.....it was a complete surprise and I was supposed to be having my tubes tied, lol. I was complete at 2, fate changed that around on me, lol.

I can't fathom how I will cope with three kids....two was too many!!! lol.

We already have two dogs, a cat, 6 fish and a turtle......my hands are FULL!!!

  7. I used to want 6 kids.  Now I'm halfway there and wishing I'd just stuck to dogs!

I probably won't *wish* for anymore, but I know if my children had another sibling come along who needed a family, they'd be coming right here to us.

  8. Sure we would but we decided to stop at four.

We feel that the four we have is what we can sensibly afford.

Any more and we think they wouldn't all get the time and attention they need from us as individuals, not just as part of the group.

    We have two dogs too....lol

I take it you are wrestling with your situation.... another one or not...your pic looks like twins... I am wild guessing you have twins??? Perhaps you are worrying if you have one more it might end up to be two more....?

I have 4 kids and at the moment it's not too financially difficult as the youngest is still a baby, once they are all teenagers I predict we will be spending a lot more...

Wish I could help you more.

  9. Lol, I would actually like to, I think. I know next year when my middle child is at school, and I am left with only one at home I am going to get soooooo clucky again.

BUT, there is a problem. grant had a vascectomy when Brodie was just a newborn. At 36 weeks pregnant with him I woke up hemmoraging and Brodie was born my emergency caesarian shortly after arriving at the hospital. It was a very close escape for both me and Brodie. Scared Grant so much he went and did it without even my consent. (it was a sore point for a long time between us, I am still grumpy about it!)

    So, I most likely will not get my 4th . . . . . .  : (

  10. Yes yes yes I would love another 2 or 3 BUT i am having a hard enough time getting ben to agree to number 2.....so i am going to beg and beg and beg for the next couple of years and then probably get a dog!!! i dont feel as thought we are complete but should feel blessed that we even have charleigh ( i was told i couldnt have children)...

  11. I am due to have my third soon and if money were not an issue I would have one or two more. I always envisioned myself having a big family. My husband does not want anymore though, but not to the point where he will get a vasectomy, so who knows. I will definitely wait a few more years though. Having 3 children under 5 is going to be hard as it is. I would like for our family to feel more settled before I make any decisions.

  12. I have 2 children, a boy and a girl. Although sometimes I find myself wanting another baby, my family feels complete.

  13. Hi....We have a 3 year old boy Dylan and a 1 year old little girl Julianne. Julianne has Cystic Fibrosis. On top of the fact that it makes every day more challenging, Cystic Fibrosis can show up again in another future child. That makes the decision to have another all the harder! There is a 1 in 4 chance that any child my husband and I bring into the world will have CF. I don't know if I can live with the knowledge that I purposely made a sick baby. I mean heaven knows we would pray for a healthy child....but in the end it is up to God. Soooooo, all that being said we are using protection and all but if God wants us to have another we will.

  14. I have 4 right now! and i'm pregnant with my second set of twins! After them i dont know if i will or not! Probably not! I think we will be very complete when we have 6! But it all depends on how i feel!

  15. My husband and I want 1 or 2 more after the triplets are born.

Lucy, Addy, Sarah, Theo, Nick, and Tessa just doesn't sound complete yet! But you never know!

  16. i'd love to have another baby preferably a boy as i have a girl but i just don't want to have to wait the whole 9 + months and go through the pain again LOL

  17. I've always wanted to have 2 children, maybe because i had a brother and always liked the idea of having 2 kids.  My husband and I have a 2-year-old daughter right now and we're trying for our 2nd child.  But it's taking a lot longer than i thought...we've been TTC for over a year now.  But i'm sure it will happen when my body is ready.

  18. NO

I have 5 kids and 1 on the way.

The last baby was a HUGE surprise, we were done and I guess God had something else planned. =)

So know with 5 and 1 on the way, I am defiantly not having anymore.

    Ages of my kids:

    Sean - 15

    Julia - 12

    Justin - 12

    Maya - 7

    Ian - 4

and my baby boy - due in a month! (we don't have a name yet.) =/

    So I'm done!

  19. In 3 weeks and 6 days we will be a complete family! Our third child is due on August 21. We have two daughters and our third baby will complete our family with three kids, two girls and a boy.

  20. Yeah definitely. despite of financial probs, its a good feelings to have more Babys. A woman feels happiness to be Pregnant as well as Man, when he comes to know that his other Half is Expecting.

  21. I would like to have more children, yes. A while ago, I thought that we were settled and complete as a family and was very happy with our children. I very recently lost my eldest son to leukemia, he was three and I have decided I do want more children. We now have twins who are three weeks old and are waiting for a nice age gap to have more children.

I'm not keen on pets, but we do have a dog - he's family too.

  22. I hav a son i dont think i will hav anymore right now lolz, its funny that coz i was also thinkin of gettin a pup from the rspca of course..

  23. For the last months of my pregnancy and for the first week after having my twins I was saying no way! But... after I have recovered from their delivery im already thinking I want 2 more sometime down the track. My twins are only 3 weeks old lol and I have an 18 month old son. I always knew that I wanted a big family though.

  24. some days i get soooo clucky and miss being pregnant,,, but those are just my bored days!!!!!!!!

cos some days i look forward to the day when theyr all at school and i can do my own thing like clean the house in peace, or shop in peace, or exercise at a gym, or go cinema,,, anything thats me time!!!!!!!!

but if i ever got pregnant [a miracle cos we do it safe now] , id b happy still as i love little kiddies and enjoy pregnancy and the newborn stage so much , xxxxxxxxxxxxx

,, and think about the dog,, they can be annoying like mine, id love to post mine out to you for a trial run, u will change your mind, actually i dont think u can post a live animal in the post so ill post u his poo,,lmao

  25. There are days when my girls are at each other's throats that I think, "Now why didn't we just get dogs!?!?!?!"

I always wanted three kids and my husband was set on two. Once we 'finished' at two I felt 'done' but not complete. Last year out of the blue (sort of...there were some traumatic family events that got him to thinking about a larger family) my husband offered up the idea of a third and I jumped on it immediately before he recanted. I'm due in 5 weeks and cannot wait but there is NOTHING in me that remotely thinks four is a good number for me. Three seems perfect for our life and it's true, I didn't feel complete even though we were supposedly 'done' growing our family for the last three years.

    Best of luck!

  26. No way...its too overwhelming to have something so precious that you one day might lose :(

I know its a negative answer but just how I feel about my son, dont think I could feel that all over again, i love him so much it hurts

  27. I am too old but I would LOVE a grandchild or two, or three or ten!! My son's fiance has a 5 year old child (not his bio child) who I love and enjoy very much but it would be nice to have an infant in the house at times!!

  28. You should probably just go ahead and shoot me for saying this, but...

maybe just one more??? Not for another two-three years, though, having just had the 'last' two in two years, and assuming the money is there.

If I don't physically have one more, I'd also think of adopting. (Not sure I can/ should have another one biologically considering the whole 'hemorrahging' thing 3 weeks ago).

But yes, we *are* a nice complete family! (I think that's why I'm not sure if I'm done. Because every child has only made our family that much more complete :)

  29. We have a 16 month old daughter, and definitely want another one.  However, we are just embarking on the "Terrible Twos", and I'm kind of having second thoughts!  LOL.

We are actually trying for #2 right now.  Then that will be it.

  30. NO

(Is this the biggest font they have here?)

I love my kids, it's just that, well I had a big retirement party for my uterus already, and I'd have to return the gifts.

  31. I would like more children, but I don't think hubby does. We already have 8, 6 who are living with us. We are to old to conceive, but I wouldn't mind adopting one more child.
