  1. I'd love to have the ability to engage in the activities that Mr. Vandergaw is involved in.

I'm not sure I have the moxy to be a pioneer. I don't know the full extent of his homestead and what amenities he does or does not have.

He's a tough man and should be revered for his accomplishments.

  2. YES,  I WATCHED THE PROGRAM. I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO HUNT THE BIG ALASKA GRIZZLIES, BUT AFTER SEEING CHARLIE INTERACT WITH THOSE WONDERFUL CREATURES, I DON'T THINK I EVER WILL. HE REALLY OPENED UP MY EYES TO THE INTELLIGENT AND CARING NATURE THAT THE BEARS HAVE. I WOULD LOVE TO SPEND A SUMMER WITH CHARLIE TO OBSERVE HIS INTERACTIONS WITH HIS NEW FRIENDS. I HOPE HE IS ABLE TO CONTINUE HIS LIFESTYLE FOR MANY MORE YEARS TO COME. WE COULD ALL LEARN FROM HIS ACTS OF KINDNESS TOWARDS THE BEARS. GOOD LUCK CHARLIE!!!!

  3. no

  4. Oh, yeah.  I love the black bears that visit us here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Black bears are not anything like the media usually describes or show them. Most residents in our neighborhood enjoy the bears' displays of intelligence and curiosity so much that we don't mind losing a few bird feeders or hot tub covers.  I love our sweet black bears. Charlie is a hero not a crazy guy. He has learned to live with nature and not fear it.

Can't compare Charlie to Tim (grizzly confronter) or that animal trainer (animals in capitivity act completely different). Love and peace to Charlie, his bears and their relationship.

  5. h**l YEA I WOULD,oh sorry I thought you wrote beer heaven, no in that case

  6. No, I could not live there, but I found the report on TV about Charlie fascinating.  What a man!  He takes the bears seriously, but gives so much to them.
