Would You Shop at Goodwill for clothes Ever??

Question

Lately a Ive been passing goodwill on my way home I been thinking, I would never shop there because they sell used clothes and i dont want to buy something from someone i dont even know....especially clothes. I need to know where my stuffs been b4. shopping at goodwlll would be a desperate measure for me.

If you wash the clothes once your bring them home, they're usually just as clean as clothes that have been tried on, taken home and returned, etc. that are in department stores and stores at the mall.  The clothes at goodwill are inexpensive and can often be very nice.

No, I would not wear used clothes.. I shop at discount stores like Ross though.

Yes. Im not poor at all and I shop there all the time. I used to think it would be gross and they wouldnt have any decent clothes, but once I looked, I was amazed at what I found! I've found Seven for all Mankind jeans, Dooney&Bourke purse (real), Citizens of Humanity, Juicy Couture, plus they almost always have Hollister, Abercrombie, American Eagle.  So for me, it's totally worth it!!

i do sometimes. and if not goodwill it's some other thrift shop. who cares where they've been? just throw them in the wash before wearing them. i like finding cool threads. sometimes you can get even designer stuff for cheap if you look around enough. i've seen calvin klein and tommy jeans for $8.

i go garage sailing sometimes too. it's all about the search.

Yes, and I have my whole life. I'm by no means poor or under-priveleged, I just find it a fun adventure to find old clothes that I may like. All you have to do is wash it, and it's as good as new. Also, its always good to recycle.

I give my old clothes to Goodwill as well.

Absolutely! I have shopped at a goodwill and I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I wasn't desperate for clothes or anything but I can always appreciate a good deal. I know what it takes to earn a dollar, so I don't believe in spending ridiculous amounts of money on clothes or shoes for that matter. I think that whatever floats your boat is the way you should go when purchasing anything. :)

its fun to go in their cuz u can find some great things like retro and vintage clothes. u should try it sometime. its fun

Honestly, I think I would, but I don't have a goodwill near me, and I can't go shopping there, I think it'd be great to go find some cool, old clothes to look through. :]

I shopped there before when I was in high school, they wash everything.  Plus, you buy clothing that people have tried on in the store, what's the difference?
