  1. NEVER consume less than 1200 calories a day, it's not healthy.


  2. Not really. Not every human being needs to consume 2000 calories a day. Compare a small unactive child to a full grown man who happens to be an athlete. There's a formula to figure out how much you should eat, I'll try to find it. But, no, it's not really considered strict.

  3. Yes it would.  calories are a terrible measure of energy tho
