  1. no

  2. Yes, Sims 2 does not require lots of specs and can be ran on most computers. Your computer is good enough for Sims 2, the graphics might not be too good though. It has enough RAM and the processor is almost 2.0 GHz. This link shows the requirements for Sims 2, which your computer pretty much meets.

  3. Onboard graphics are not recommended for Sims 2.You might be able to play the base game with the graphics settings down low, but for later expansions, forget it. And unlike PCs, you cannot upgrade your laptop's graphics once you have bought it.

    Also it is recommended that for the base game you have at least:

        * A 1.5 GHz processor

        * A 128 MB video card

        * 512 MB of RAM.

    If you are running Windows Vista you should have at least DOUBLE those specs for the base game.

    If you want to play Sims efficiently on that laptop buy Castaway Stories, Pet Stories or any of the other sims games specifically designed for laptops with onboard or low-end graphics.

  4. With 2GB of Ram and not too crappy Graphics, Im sure it wil work effeciently. Check on The Sims 2 readme files, it should have "Minimum Requirements" or "Recommended Requirements". As I am a gamer myself, I should know that you dont need to wori. The Sims is also not a high performance graphics needed game. So thats an all clear for me! :)

  5. of course it will...u have a low end graphics card though so don't expect awesome images or anything
