Or any car for that matter, only without nearly enough ethanol.

  1. You wouldn't be able to start the car cold, because of inadequate vapor pressure of the fuel.  The fuel-injection system might not be programmed to allow enough fuel to compensate for the leaner mixture; this may be fixable with recalibration, if you can get the right tools.

You'd definitely have problems switching from E85 to 'shine and back, because of fuel separation issues.

  2. a sensor in the fuel line allows a flex fuel vehicle to run straight gasoline through E85. more than 85% alcohol will cause problems with the programming in the computer resulting in a lean fuel mixture.

non flex fuel vehicles can run straight alcohol or gasoline, but not both. same with E85 verses straight gasoline, one or the other but not both. the reason is the system doesnt have the flex fuel sensor in the system. and if you have a carburetted engine, you can tune for straight gasoline, E85, or straight alcohol, but you cant do all three.

  3. yes could work,  metering would be tough to handle, and the vapor lock and fire issues would have to be addressed before using on permanent basis
