  1. The only way filling for bankruptcy can hurt prospective employees is when they run a credit check. Typically people who have gone through the bankruptcy process have poor credit. Employers don't want to hire someone who is a potential credit risk. Since you most likely won't be handling funds your credit score should not be a problem. Some employers also worry that employees with poor credit histories may also be easily bribed.

  2. Not if you're honest about it. Most people don't realize that the most important thing with background checks is to be completely honest.

  3. The only qualification to be a border patrol agent is to be heartless and a power freak.

    Bankruptcy? Naw.

  4. Yes.
