Would a female in England rather be called "pretty" or "hot" ?

I told my guy friend from England that women all over the world would much prefer to hear they are they are pretty rather than hot. Feel free to say which one but please tell me where you are from? Thank you

hot is better than pretty cuz that means you got the bod to match the face and pretty generally just means your face im not english though just thought id break it down for you.
