  1. Yes, they would make great pals, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs are friends!

  2. No! Guinea pigs and rabbits should not have even supervised play time. Even if they aren't fed and housed together, they're too different socially and behaviorally for it to work out. They won't interact the same way, say, two guinea pigs would, or two rabbits would, and it really is a risk to the guinea pigs.

  3. genrally, contrary to popular belief, they are not compatible to house and live together.

    why?

because rabbits and guinea pigs have different distinct diet.housing them together may result to the rabbit eating the guinea pig's food and vice verse.this is not healthy no matter what others say to you.experts ahve proven this so don't contradict.also, there may be occasions that the rabbit will become more dominant in the cage and vice versa so housing may also have problems

HOUSING together is fine but FEEDING them at the same time and place is not okay.schedule different feeding time for both animals to keep them healthy.

    i hope i helped!

  4. No, they may fight. Even a rabbit can do a lot of damage if they kick or step on the guinea pig(s) by accident. They startle easily and cannot see that well.

  5. Yes. Our female bunny BunBuns and male guinea pig Cuddles get along great.  We let them out of their cages, and they run around the room and enjoy one another's company.  Even though Bunbuns can sometimes be a little bossy, Cuddles stands his ground.  They never ever bite one another, just communicate by little gestures and sounds.   They sometimes chase one another playfully, and regularly share the foodbowl and hay.  They are not attracted to one another in a sexual way, but I think they appreciate their companionship, even though they have their seperate quarters, when they are not out running around loose.

  6. Generally, yes.  They cannot eat the same diets, however, and make sure the rabbit does not become pushy with the pigs.  Out in a neutral area-like the kitchen floor or similar safe enclosed play area, they should be fine.

  7. i've heard that they get along well, are they all spayed? because this would probably incline a quicker friendship

  8. If they are not housed together, than they could get along. But always be watchful when you introduce them. Rabbits are much stronger than guinea pigs and can injure them with them there strong back legs.

It is not a good idea to house rabbits and guinea pigs together for a long period of time.

  9. My friend keeps 2 rabbits and a guinea pig outside together in the same pen and they get along fine.  So I'm going with yes.
