Would a guy be normal if...?

Question

He is 20, straight and wants a girl but never even kissed before? He obviously wouldn't be the norm, but would this make him pretty much screwed for life?

Social anxiety is a major factor here.

I guess he could bounce back from it, but it might take some work. If social anxiety is the problem, then that needs to get resolved. I would try just working a little more social contact in every day.

What is normal these days? Who is? ........It's fine if you have never kissed a girl yet, you will find the right one who makes you comfortable, try talking to a therapist if it is too hard for you to be intimate with a girl! good luck!!

It's probably more normal than you think. I'm 16 && i've never been kissed. My friends 17 && she's never been kissed

I think it's totally normal.  I think a lot of nice girls would think this was beyond adorable and a lot would probably kiss you just to kiss you if you told them that.  If you want a real, honest kiss, don't tell them you've never been kissed before.  Take it easy and realize that the moment will come when you have a gf and you will kiss.  I laid the first kiss on my bf, so you might not even have to worry about it.  Otherwise, watch some sappy movies and kiss your girl when the moment is right.  :3

Just proves you have a bit of class. Most guys run around trying to "score" and are driven by their egos, and their best friend down stairs. Just be honest with women and be who you are. You sound nice to me and normal.

No you aren't screwed for life...you just haven't found the right person.  Address your social anxiety first because you won't meet anyone if you are anxious all the time.

Normal, no. But then again, it seems the norm these days is s*x at 14, children by 16, and another step down the evolutionary ladder.

You're fine. I know several guys that lost virginity at 18, 20, and 21. They're fine. Nobody made fun of them, they got laid when they felt like it, and all is well.

You're not screwed for life. Believe it or not, there are a lot of women out there that don't want a guy who's been with every girl possible.

    that is a very harsh and ugly thing to say about someone and might i add a highly big judgment call on your behalf for you to make about someone just because they have never been kissed before. to insinuate that they would be screwed for life. honestly, you can see that you have a lot to learn about life.

     that would be like me saying about you: Maybe your not normal because you think it's okay to kiss every  joan, jane and janet or tom d**k and harry. not to add that you  think that people that have never kissed some one has something wrong with them .

    he is a 20 year old that obviously loves himself and respects himself and wants the right person for his partner. instead of a girl or guy who is going to kiss him them s***w paul or sarah two hours later.

maybe he is the type of guy that has a phobia of chicks and guys like you      he could just be picky. maybe he's waiting to meet the right ( pure and untainted ) girl or guy who hasn't been rucked up yet.. willing to kiss just anyone. maybe he's afraid of mono or herpes.

   maybe his looks might have something to do with it. maybe he doesn't feel like he meets boyfriend standards so why even try? because there's people out there that think like you do.

   maybe he just told you that. to see how gullible you are. maybe he's toying with you. and maybe, just maybe he read your stupid question of an immature person.

Oh  jeff you are one of many, don't you worry about it, ofcourse you are normal. Just try to gain some self confidence and get out there. if you're not ready then it's still okay, you can do it whenever you want. dont' stress you're completely normal!

There is nothing wrong with having never had a 1st kiss by 20. I had a lot of social anxiety myself growing up and I never had my 1st kiss till I was 19...and even then, it was a surprise kiss. A lot of people have anxiety. If it's a problem, there is medication that can help to get anxiety under control. I've heard of some that have saved their 1st kiss until they stood at the alter on their wedding day. Some people think that's ridiculous. I think it's sweet.
