  1. Humidity is generally a local phenomena and all it really does is generate more rain.  More clouds might actually increase the reflectivity of the earth overall to result in a net cooling effect.


  2. Andrew O is right, humidity is a local phenomenon. Interestingly, geologists have theorized that repeated global warming has led to repeated ice ages. The postulated mechanism is:

    Ice melts in the Arctic Ocean, leaving open water which evaporates. The increased humidity (local) leads to vastly increased precipitation in the form of snow because it's still really cold at the poles. The snowfall reflects more sunlight, the earth cools, more snow falls, and you get a new ice age very very quickly.

  3. Yes i think it would ,With the global warming it is so much hotter now in the summer and more humid ' would make it unbearable.
