6' x 2' x 2' be okay for one normal rabbit?

If not how big should i get it?

Also could i build it from hardwood plywood?

  1. That is fine for one rabbit you'll have to divide it into 4ft and 2 ft for sleeping.The hardwood plywood is fine as well drill a number of small bore holes in the base for ventilation/drainage before putting the straw/hay down.

    Dont feed it lettuce its a fallacy and can be deadly


  2. If you choose to cage animals that would otherwise be running free and shagging to their hearts content' then, I  suppose, the CAGE that you propose, would be appropriate

  3. That is a great size run for 1 rabbit, unless it is a giant rabbit (eg. english lop).

    Depending on the type of rabbit you could possibly keep 2 in there... a couple of dutch or similar size would be the limit. Dwarf lops, even though the word dwarf may lead you to think they stay small, would be too cramped with 2 in that cage when fully grown.

    All in all, you're probably best with just the 1 rabbit... finding two that stay the right size could just be too much hassle

  4. yeah, a smaller one would be ok 2 as long as it has daily use of a run
