No. And Beijing is a tad more than a community. The population is close to 15 million or more.  The Chinese are very supportive of each other.  FYI they are also kind and hospitable to foreigners -

Why all the focus on one tourist killed? I am sorry for his family but there are tourists being killed all over the world everyday.

Its hard to say.

However the murder happen inside a tourist attraction a possible terrorist target.

How a man got a knife passed the so called beefed up security beats me, specially then most places in Beijing are now subjected to security checks.

If someone in your family turn out to be a crazy murderer how would you feel? How did you feel about those American who openly attacked Middle Easterners in U.S. after 9-1-1? ashamed? maybe just a little bit?... I was shocked by how stupid some people can be. I'm sure the attacker's family is more than upset with what he did... if he even has a family.
