Yes, but mostly for women. Women are much sensitive to sense of smell. Flowers give off smells that pleases women (perfumes are made from them). Mothers who lost their child chokes them with emotion when they smell their old clothes. Also women love and appreciate the prettiness of flowers.

I would LOVE some flowers! And they don't always have to be from a significant other, they can also be sent to friends! (well, not roses per se, but regular flowers). I would love some bright, cheerful colorful ones, say with snapdragons and gerber daisies, or anything pastel in color!  :)

Yes, one of those Orchids that looked like a slipper. Discovered underneath the magnificent waterfall on "Lost Land of the Jaguar". BBC1 8pm Wednesday. Well done the BBC for bringing us another superb programme.
