  1. I was told not to take hot showers, because it can raise the baby's body temp.

  2. It will help progress labour because it will relax and make you comfortable, which is a plus!!! Good luck with it all!

  3. First of all, congratulations on your little blessing from heaven. Secondly, I have never heard of a hot shower speeding things up, but I do know that walking is a very good way to speed things up, help with the dilation, and make the labor easier to bear.I do not know you, or your medical condition( such as high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.) so that is the only one I know to pass on that is beneficial and not harmful to you or the little one.Good luck, and again, congratulations.

  4. i really dont know about showers but i heard taking a bath will help, and Good Luck!

  5. I'm not sure if it would help or not, but it will help you relax  :o)

In my lamaze class I heard things that speed labor are lots of s*x (sperm is supposed to help), massages, and certain pressure points on your body.

  6. OMG I'm so excited for you!!!

Um my friends told me go for a walk around the neighborhood.

Then when you have to go pee, hold it, and scrub a floor on your hands and knees and it will help break your water....It worked for 3 ppl I know.

    If still nothing do squats....:]
