  1. It is a possibility.. a polar bear is at the top of the food chain and if hungry will eat anything including people or dogs... it will also attack if feel threatened by the person or the dogs.

  2. One cannot answer this question completely honest.

It would depend on if the bear was experenced, hungry enough, the climet, (basicly if it is20F or -160F or higher)and other factors.  I'd personaly say it is a bad idea for the bear because dog sled teams mostly consist of Huskies or similer breeds which are is closer relation to wolves and could probably fight him off.  alos the "Person" with them would most likly have a rifle, these days you ae required to carry a firarm but people don't always do that.

  3. Yes, if it's mad enough. They have no fear

  4. posssibly if it is hungry, but they should stay away. but youi never know because animals are animals and you can't tell what they will do next.

  5. If it was hungry enough.

  6. If the polar bear was hungry, but there are cases when polar bears have been known to actually play with sled dogs.

  7. maybe if it is hungry. or if it feels threatened or has cubs to protect

  8. I live in Alaska - and have experience around polar bears.

Yes!  Oh, a big YES.  A hungry polar bear will smell and track the dogs down from 20-30 miles away.  People too.

Polar bears blend in so well, they are the true master of deception.  You can be standing with binoculars in the same place for a day and never see one - then one will pop out about 200 feet from you........ seemingly out of nowhere.  They are very good at catching the scent of their prey, determining the direction and distance - and especially staying out of sight.

    Hope this helps
