I want to apply for a position at the court house, requires you to be bondable. I have a clean criminal background, but a poor credit score/report. Can this legally affect my getting considered for this position?

  1. It depends on the extent of your credit damage. If you have several collections, judgements, repossessions, bankruptcy then you can kiss that job goodbye. But if you've been late here and there like nearly everyone has you'll be fine.

  2. Possibly depending on how poor the credit is.
