Would a snake lay eggs in a house?

Question

if a snake lay eggs in a house would she leave the house after she layed the eggs or will she stay inside the house

if the eggs were in the house where would the snake have layed them warm or cold area in clothes or on ground

what colour are the eggs

seeing small snakes crawl in the home would it indicate that young ones were layed inside or they could have crawled inside from doors being open

as the snakes get bigger would they leave the house , I think these are harmless snakes

most snakes lay the eggs and leave because as soon as the baby snake hatches from the egg, it has the abilities to survive by itself so it does not need help from a mother.

1) The mother would stay to keep the eggs warm-unless she's hungry. But most wont eat for quiet a while.

2) She would lay the eggs in a place that doesn't have much action like a closet or basement. Also somewhere dark and warm.

3) The snakes most likely were layed inside the house if there are many hatchlings.

4) The snakes would leave the house for food, but most likely will stay because houses are kept at a snakes ideal temp. most of the year.

I would look these up online. If a snake has layed eggs in your house, chances are it or another one will soon.

If the house has a constant temperature suiting the snakes liking and it feels like it is a safe place and close to food and water she may decide to lay eggs there.  

She will stay with the eggs until they hatch and depending on the type of snake the hatchlings will stay where they hatched for a short time.  the eggs would mostlikely be in a warm place with suitable humidity so that the eggs don't dry out.

The only time the mother will leave the eggs is if she feels threatened enough to leave or if she is hungry.  Snakes can go for weeks on end without food though even months.  this is because 80% of the food that we as humans eat is used for body warmth, snakes sun themselves to get this extra body heat allowing them to eat less.  

Its hard to determin what type of snake it is cause you havent given any description.  

if there are young snakes coming into your house try to observe if they are aggressive toward eachother and see if there is anything that they would class as a food sauce, eg: mice and other reptiles (garden skinks are one of many).

If the snakes isnt given a reason to leave the chance of it leaving is slim.  Snakes territory is very small they dont wander too far from the security of their hide thats why when they are captive bread their enclosures are only small.  So if there are many snakes and they are getting bigger and they all seem to be coming into your home either try to find what keeps bring them back and get rid of it or move it, or you can call and environmental group and talk to them.  

Talking to an environmental group would be a good suggestion if you want to get rid of the snakes.  if they do their job right they shouldnt have any problem coming out and investigating it for free.
