  2. It depends how steep the hill is, I suppose. Though I've seen some of those monsters scuttle up vertical walls faster than I could swat them.

    Besides, they have eight legs so they can probably go on four times easier than we can. Plus they have winches built in to their backsides. They could possibly turn round, fire something like a grappling hook then fly uphill @rse first by winding the line in at a high rate of knots.

  3. yes the laws of gravity apply to spiders. i.e. going uphill against gravity requires more effort
