Would a team composed of the best foreign players in the NBA have a chance against Team USA?

Yao, Nowitzki, Nash, Parker, Ginobilli, Bogut, Kirilenko, Gasol, Deng, Gordon, Stojakovic, Nene...

And who would you remove / add to the current lineup of the US team to make them a better match?

Wouldn't this be a refreshing change if they actually had THIS game in the allstar weekend, instead of the bore-fest the allstar game has become?

If team USA can't bring home the gold this year, do you think Stern would allow this game to be possible? I mean, if this squad can't win the gold, then I've heard that the NBA will market the idea that the rest of the world has finally and truly caught up with them.

I think this would be a good exhibition game, maybe in the off season to prepare for 2012, but I think the Americans would win.

If the Americans wanted to win they would need to get an amazing power forward, only one I can think of not foreign is Kevin Garnett, so get him and they will blow out any team.

This won't be on all star weekend because it will tire out the all stars, and its bogus that you are in all star weekend just because your an foreign your in the all star weekend, and a lot of foreign guys are of the bench and suck(no offense to foreign people) so ti wouldn't be fair.

The U.S. will bring home the gold.

your answer is of course yes. The US hasn't won gold since 1996. The US does not play fundamentally sound basketball. Most of us in the USA know this. It's only the media that hype hoops. Smart Yanks "lay" the US in hoops and then rake in the profits.

I think that Nene or Bogut should be replaced with Big Z. This would nevfer happen, the allstars would get too tired for the game. I'd pay anthing to see it though. I'd replace Tayshaun Prince with Kevin Garnett on this team, or anyone because Tayshaun Prince is an absolute scrub compared to the rest of the people on this team.

Tim Duncan can also be counted on there even though he was born in the virgin islands he is still counted as an international player because he was not born in the 50 states!!!

well does kobe still have italian citizenship? because if he does he could play for this world team. also do you consider the virgin islands part of the us? if not, then duncan can play in the world team.  and yes, the world team could compete with team usa.
