Would it be really beneficial to my vertical jump if I got a trampoline or does it not give you that much of an increase and I should just stick with weights and drills?

  1. It should help your vertical jump as long as you are really working out on the trampoline.  If you are doing flips or other gymnastics, it will not help your jump.  It should cushion your landings, which will be very beneficial to your knees and ankles.

  2. Jumping on a trampoline will certainly increase your vertical, as long as you're on the way up and not down. It's too bad they're not allowed on the volleyball court!

Be careful with simple drills, they can be very dangerous if you haven't used one before. Whether they are cordless or plug-in, drills can be dangerous.

They are tools for construction - not volleyball training equipment.

    Good luck.

  3. it will help a little bit..but dont get too used to it cuz u wont have that much spring on the court! still practice drills, just practice your approach and everything. jumping alone really will help

  4. Continue jumping on the trampoline but use ankle weights, it will help you a lot better than jumping without them.
