I want to put some peat moss in my turtle tank for humidity and was wondering if a Reeve's turtle will eat it.

  1. Reeves are as terrestrial as they are aquatic.  I doubt he'd eat the moss, unless he has no other option.

A properly fed Reeves shouldn't consider the moss a food source.

But, turtles are ever curious.  Introduce the moss, and see what his individual reaction to it is.  If he appears to be grazing it, remove it.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

  2. No. Would you?
