  1. No.  UK DECT frequency is 1.9GHz.  The more likely interferers are things like the video senders you can buy to put TV to another room - they are on 2.4GHz.  Usually it is the video signal that suffers the most though.  You can try changing the channel on the router - they are usually set to a default by the manufacturer - if you should get problems.
