Would a windows keyboard work on a mac??

my mac usb keyboard its not working so if a connect a usb windows keyboard would it work??.... and the apple key, now it just would be the windows icon key??..

  1. yes as long as you are talking about USB not the PS2 plug usuallly on the older keyboards it will work. Windows keyboards has a pin thats up/down and mac keyboards have he pin side/side. That way they can get more money for the mac keyboards of old. But all the USB will work on mac/windows based computers. Thanks
