Would an American diploma be acceptable in Australia?

Uhm, yeah. So I know this American, and he's considering moving to Australia. Se we were wondering if he went to school there, would whatever he got be able to be used here?

If he goes to a reputable, regionally accredited university in the US and obtains his bachelors degree, it is considered the equivalent to an Australian bachelors degree.

But if he goes to Devry or something... not so much.
