Would an Ar15 flip up sight work on an ak barrel?

Would an ar15 flip up sight like this work on an AK?

This is the sight I am talking About

Probably not

There are height and plane differences between the two guns that would seem to not allow this sight to line up with the rear sight of an AK

There are also barrel configuration considerations

Not with out a lot of work.

Check out http://www.redstararms.com/ they have a lot of stuff designed for your AK that might be a better choice for you.

you could but why ??? it would not be hard to do just the time and money required to do it would be woth more than what you paid for the ak you do know bushmaster now makes a 308 thats a twin of the ar ....:)
