Would an elephant make a good pet? If so where could I get one?

My dad said that we could get an elephant as a pet butI have to find one. Also what type of food do they eat???

Sorry but there is no where you can get an elephant and it wouldn't be able to get into your house.

Why do you want a pet elephant? I don't know anything about elephants? Do you live in Africa or India? That's where I know elephants live. I'm pretty sure owning an elephant is illegal.

Could you imagine trying to keep an Elephant as a pet? It would cost thousands a month.

Keeping Elephants as pets is illegal, and I don't think that is something you could hide from the neighbours either!
