I decided to resign from my job mid July. Since then I have been looking for full time employment, however I am currently working part time (and this experience is not on my resume). I'm hoping to find a job sooner than later, but I wonder if my appears to be unemployed status is hurting me finding a job.

  1. As a general rule, employeed. However, depending on why the perosn was/is unemployed  can be taken in to consideration. However, if you really need a job, you will take any job(s) in order to pay bills and support self.

Depends why you resigned and if you can show proof. I would add the PT job to your resume. You have only been out of FT work a very short time frame. Prolonged would be considered over 90 or 120 days.

  2. I would say employed. It looks better as far as responsibility goes.

  3. Might not matter, depending on the employer, and on how prolonged the unemployed period was and the reason for it.
