  1. Premium,always premium. Higher octane,cleaner,all around better for the bike.


  2. depends on what manual recommends and tune- ignition timing, etc. Many 2 strokes run best on plain unleaded regular- premium on some has slightly wrong burn rate and delays complete burn . Others are timed for the premium. Watch out for the ethanol mixes on any bike. Oil injection and street/ trail/sport may be best with regular.
