They used one for the first inning when Minute Maid Stadium first opened. Supposed to resemble an orange...

I played softball in college,,I like the yellow and orange when batting.  It helped.

idk if an orange baseball would be, but a big floppy orange hat would deff distract any and all batters. you would be the greatest pitcher of all time with a bright orange hat on your head

Orange baseballs?

Why not, they would have to be more visible to the batter?

Pitchers would hate them as an ERA of under 3.00 for a starting pitcher would vanish.

And an under 2.50 ERA for closers would vanish and for middle relief, under a 5.00 ERA would be passe.

But look on the bright side, even pitchers, maybe, could hit an orange baseball.

Could we then?, get "RID" of that abomination called a DH?

I think it would help the batter because they could see their target better.
