  1. No, it might try it on with a kitten if it were desperate.

  2. if the owl was big enough or the cat was small enough, probably yes.

  3. Yes, it is possible. Great Horned Owls are one of the most perfect predators on earth. That being said, a cat would be quite a handful and I think most owls would think twice before taking one on. The best way to prevent owls from getting cats is to keep the cat inside! Cats that spend their lives indoors are very happy and live MUCH longer lives.

  4. a kitten maybe or if the owl is very big.  they eat squirrels & rabbits which are about the same size so it depends on the mood of the owl.

  5. YOU BET IT WOULD

  6. Oh my god that'd have to be a big owl. I don't think so. although some people who've already answered your question think there's a type of owl that could eat a cat. Maybe they're right

  7. If the cat is small enough for it, depending on the owl's size, then sure. It's possible. If you're asking this to protect your own cat, and it's small, and you live in owlsville, then just be careful.

  8. my mom coworker cat got eatin by a Great horned owl.

great horned owl is capable of destroying game birds and animals. Poultry is also a favorite of the owls because they are easily captured. The occasional domestic cat can also fall victim to the great horned owl.
