Would any European Team pay Lebron James 50 million a year salary?

No soccer player earn that much, why would Lebron break the record? consider soccer is still far popular sport in Europe.

yes.  Olympiakos wants him.  Maybe Barcelona or Spartak Moscow will bid for him too.  Though soccer is the king of sports in Europe, basketball is clearly becoming 2nd place there, and basketball is played during soccer's offseason too

to me, this just cements "king" lebron as the money greedy punk that he really is. He thinks he's soo much better than everyone else... I really can't believe that he would say something like this. He wants everyone to think he's this great player... I think it's more than money that makes you great. I've watched him play the last few years (I'm a piston's fan) and he is really just a big baby. the t-shirts made up last year about crying... were dead on. I thinkthat if he ever wants to be considered the best... he'll have to stop crying, and stop saying stupid things like this (50 million to play in europe)...... can you ever see Michael Jordan saying some stupid comment like that? I think a team in Greece may pull an LA Galaxy and sign a player for a ridiculous amount just to try and increase popularity. I doubt it'll happen tho. Lebron will stay in the NBA for about 25 million per year

Man you guys take stuff too literally get a life.  D-Wade said he would play overseas if someone paid him 30mil a year yet noone is making a big deal about that.  It was just a joke, in other words he isn't going anywhere.  He just threw out an astronomical number that noone in their right mind should pay someone to play ball.
