Oh yeah im pretty horrified. Wrestling isn't about jumping off high things, wrestling is about wrestling. New fans dont understand that, let alone know that the Hardy Boyz were in the Brood let alone what the Brood was. Jeff Hardy doesn't deserve a belt after everything his done to the company and his fans.

Actually now that you bring it up, I am quite surprised that Jeff Hardy has never held the belt. He's done a lot of the business and definitely deserves it. He should have a feud with CM Punk. I love CM Punk. I don't know who I'd want to have the title more but no I would not be mortified. Why would anyone be mortified in less someone like  Khali was champion

OK, I don't agree with the drugs part, and I kinda dislike Jeff Hardy messing up so many chances, but come on: I've seen the guy putting his body on the line for us fans year after year, match after match. More or less since 97 that I started watching wrestling. What makes Jeff a great wrestler is his ability to fly (specially with a ladder.. He turns into spiderman) and his skills are not because of the drugs: Those are because the passion and dedication he has for the business, something that some new generation wrestlers still need to learn.

Yeah In A Way Because i Think He Is One Of The People Who Should Hold The Intercontinental Title But I Don't Think That It Holds The Same Prestige It Used To That Why Guys Like Cm Punk Have Gotten A Push Straight For The Big Title Cus Nothing Reli Holds As Much Prestige As It Used To . I find it humorous when I hear people asking if Jeff Hardy deserves a championship.  I'm going to be mean, here, so if you like Jeff Hardy like a school girl likes hello kitty, then you should steer away from this post.

Yes.  I would be mortified.  Why?

WRESTLING BASICS:

The guy doesn't know how to throw a punch, let alone a suplex.  His style is very loose, to the point where most of his moves don't look like they hurt anyone at all.  Most of his matches consist of him getting beat to death, and somehow managing his finishers, and that's it...  leaving no story to really be told in the ring.

SPEAKING ABILITY:

He has none.  Plain and simple, Jeff Hardy needs to be scripted for every show, and he has to memorize EVERY LINE, or his promos are complete garbage.  With all the pot he smokes, do you really think he could remember that week-in, week-out?

DRUG ABUSE:

Jeff has been suspended on five seperate occasions.  Twice since coming back, and three times before he was let go the first time.  All of which for drug-related problems.  Three for failing drug tests.  One for no-showing due to being drugged up in a hotel.  And one due to not being in mental shape to compete for the night.  Jeff really doesn't have it together, and he was fired the first time around after he declined getting help.  Is this the type of role model WWE wants now that they're kid-friendly?

DESERVING?:

Besides what I've just stated, here's another reason he doesn't deserve it.  In the time he's been in the fed, his whole "era" was Intercontinental or Tag Team...  and each time he's held a belt, they've never been able to come up with a good story for him.  It's going to continue to be that way because he's not a face people want to see win.  They want to see him do crazy stuff, and then put over a good heel.  He's a stepping stone to the title, but he doesn't deserve the belt, himself.

OVERALL:

Jeff Hardy's got major problems, and really doesn't deserve the title as much as people think he does.  Matt has done more for the federation, including being fired because he needed to vent about his girl cheating on him, and then subsequently being re-hired just to turn his life into a storyline.  And even after all that, I don't believe Matt's ready for the big time.  Jeff's hundreds of shades worse, and really, he's only popular because he makes girls squeal for his "mysteriousness."

Don't give him more credit than he deserves.

Yes, it's true that RVD got arrested for possession of weed. But, weed is a drug that should be legalized anyway. Keep the potheads out of jail and save room for drug dealers, rapists, pedophiles, terrorists, and murderers. Potheads are not harming anyone but themselves, plus unlike other drugs pot is not as addictive as crack, h**l it's not even as addictive as coffee.

Honestly, no.  Jeff did get suspended a few times for drugs, but people make mistakes.  Rob Van Dam was arrested for posession, and he was still WWE champion.  I hav idolized Jeff for a long time, and I think he is long overdue for another shot at the title, much less a world title reign

No I would not be mortified, I do think it is inventible that he will one day get a run with the WWE title. With John Cena out of the picture once again WWE needs to push somebody that can appeal to some of WWE's key demographics that keeps them in business. My only problem with Jeff Hardy as world champ is

1. I would hate to see Hardy shoved down our throats every week in a Cena like fashion.

2. I think there are other wrestlers on the roster who are more desevering for a push that have yet to have one..
