Would any one know how i could locate i legal last name change paper from Bad kissingen Germany?

I was born in Bad Kissingen Germany, my step dad was a solider who married my mom and had my last name changed to his. Well now 15 years later I am here in America trying to apply for my green card but the last thing I need is a paper from the courts saying that my last name was changed legally and I have no clue how to get a hold of anyone to get this paper! Please is there anyone that can help me I am in despreate need

You should contact the Standesamt in  Bad Kissingen.

The Standesamt is the place where they change names in Germany .If you don't speak German anymore , send me an pn and I help you to write them a mail.
