Would anybody like to talk to me about experience and lifestyle in America?

Hey! I'm currently from England and live in Manchester and my parents want to consider emmgrating to America. I was wondering if anyone living in America could talk to me about what it is like there. Also, what would be the impression to anyone (especially girls) of me having a british accent too?

I live in the desert. It's hot here, but the good part is you can always go up in the mountains where it's cooler. The US has a variety of terrains to choose from, and you'd really enjoy it alot more if you took a road trip. Rent a car, drive down the highway, and stop at the local diners and bars. The women would love your accent, and you'd be able to get up close and personal.

well, each state has its own "thing." I am from Florida. the best place to live here, in my opinion is Cocoa beach, Clearwater,Palm Harbour(british/irish/scottish/greek community), also the whole tampa bay area. Check these places out on the net. they are beautiful places and where i grew up. if you love the beach, surfing, shopping, and dont mind hurricanes and rain may-sept. then you'll love florida:) The whole western part of the us is pretty dusty, snowy, and the people are more laid back. The north eastern part is crazy and loud. the south is talkative,loud and we love sweet tea!..lol. We have alot of brits here and we also have many cities and communities that are brit inspired, also we have greek towns, dutch towns...the melting pot! but yes, an english accent for the ladies can help some..its cute. makes you interesting:)good luck on the big move and when you get here, wear your seat belt and bring an umbrella...lol.
