His name is Brian Douglas Kingman and he was born on the Isle of Wight in 1951. His mothers last name was Chalmers and his dad was Denis Albert Douglas Kingman. I know people have been trying to trace him for years because he was left something in a will, so any info you could give me would be great.

  1. EDIT:  go to http://www.whitepages.com and enter on the "name" line Brian Douglas then on the "last name" line enter Kingman.  DO NOT ENTER AN ADDRESS.  Then hit search.  It will give you names, addresses, phone no. and some have ages which are always APPROXIMATE.  It also shows the occupation on the right side of the name.  You can always write letters and make phone calls.  There will be no harm done if that person says, "No."

Are you talking about the Isle of Wight in England or the United States?

Each state has a list of Unclaimed Property.  Check the one for your state and see if you can find a last known address for him.  Start there and talk to his friends or neighbors who can give you information from that address and you take it step-by-step.

I checked that list in my home state and discovered that my son and sister had unclaimed property.  I also discovered two secret bank accounts that belonged to my friend's husband when he died 25 years before.  She didn't know they existed until I sent her the information.  She ended up with a nice sum of money.

    I wish you success.

  2. Even if we could look it up and could find the information, we would not be able to post it on these boards, and since you do not allow e-mail it would not be possible to pass anything we might find on to you.

You could also try 192.com - if you buy some credits you can check the Electoral Roll findings for that name.

I was unable to find a Brian D. Kingman - are you sure you have the correct middle initial?  Try leaving it out and asking just for Brian Kingman if there is any possibility of error.  Also, widen your search around the Hampshire area, rather than limiting to the Isle of Wight; it is possible that he could have moved off the island.  I found only 4 people with that surname on the Isle of Wight, none of them a Brian, but they could be related.
