I know it's long and I would ask my mom, but she isn't here. I would GREATLY appreciate it.
I believe that this movie shows how Laida had thought of Miggie as someone else, but when she met him she finally realized that he was not the person she thought he was. She had heard all the new rumors and saw how other people had reacted to his actions and what he had done. It was hard for her to see, but when she got to know him she had realized that there was so much more. That he was the one facing the problem and that all those horrible rumors were true, yet no one stopped and thought about how to deal with it. Miggie had lots of problems to face with both his personal life and business life and how his reputation was being destroyed by what all the public said.
As for Noli, Ibarra and Maria Clara’s relationship does not serve much connection with the movie, but it does show how Ibarra deals with both personal problems and he also struggles with his reputation and rumors from the people from his town. He dealt with rumors and people tying to bring him down such as Damaso, and how they wanted to know what he thought about the countries and his opinions to prove him an enemy.
